Good people, It doesn’t matter the struggle. Whether you’ve gone through divorce, maybe for a second time, and you’re trying your best to put your life together.

May be you have struggled with a relationship that keeps on going off and on,

May be you lost a very close friend or a family member,

May be a very close friend betrayed you in business,

May be your colleague at work has successfully managed to get you fired,

May be you have struggled with an addiction of some sort.

Perhaps the damage you’ve endured was physical at the beginning, but then you became aware of the mental or emotional struggle that quickly followed. No matter the terrible circumstance or problem you’ve encountered, healing takes time.

Today I’m encouraging you to give yourself the gift of time to heal. Be gentle with yourself and don’t expect that a band-aid will do the trick. Little by little, healing will take place when you follow the Lord.

You may even experience a bigger portion of healing at one time through a certain Scripture or the Holy Spirit speaking to your heart. But it could be years for you to feel fully alive again when you’ve passed through the pain and suffering this world gives. In fact, some issues on this earth won’t see healing while we still live here.

The truth is that time doesn’t heal all wounds. God does.

God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:4

As you pick yourself up again, as your Priest and Servant, I want to promise you my prayers today and always.
