PRAYER TO MANAGE WEALTH WELL
Leviticus 19:13:
“You shall not oppress your neighbor or rob him. The wages of a hired worker shall not remain with you all night until the morning.”
Deuteronomy 25:13:
“You shall not have in your bag two kinds of weights, a large and a small. You shall not have in your house two kinds of measures, a large and a small. A full and fair weight you shall have, a full and fair measure you shall have, that your days may be long in the land that the LORD your God is giving you.”
Psalm 112:5:
“It is well with the man who deals generously and lends; who conducts his affairs with justice.”
Proverbs 11:1:
“A false balance is an abomination to the LORD, but a just weight is his delight.”
Let us pray
O Lord, Mighty in Power, if managing money were simple, everyone would be rich. With much money often comes much folly. Greed takes people hostage and clouds their minds. Thus, keep me free from the greedy temptation of more money. Help me to be a good and faithful steward, helping to use it for the sake of Your kingdom which has no end. Amen.
