Gracious Father, thank you that it is your nature to have compassion on us and to forgive us. Do not look upon my sins but upon my faith which I place in your infinite goodness.
Draw me into your compassionate presence, and never let me escape from it. I pray for special favor today. I ask this of you on the basis of your love, with which you have loved within Father, Son and Holy Spirit from eternity past.
I pray to you, the God who is the same yesterday, today and forever. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
