My God, I thank You for the great teachers and shepherds You sent us to continue Your redemptive work on Earth. You told them to baptize all in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and they did so.
You told them to forgive sins, to sanctify, to preach, to heal, and they did so. They guarded Your flock against all error and filled Your Churches with wisdom and understanding flowing from their mouths. Inspire me with the same spirit so that I may know You and love You and consecrate all I do, say, and think to You. Amen.
