Lord Jesus Christ, who taught Martha of Bethany that sitting at the Lord’s feet and listening to Him is all we need, I thank You for all the holy women You have given us to imitate.
They loved justice, hated iniquity, and so You have anointed them with the oil of gladness. Grant that by following their example, dedication and holiness, we may grow in purity and obedience, and recognize You to be truly the one thing we need. Amen.
