My Lord, give me a desire to want just one thing from You: to dwell in Your house all the days of my life, to gaze on Your beauty, to dwell in Your temple. I ask You this because I know that You cannot possibly give me more thank Yourself.
I recognize that everything else is a distraction. You gave everything to me in the Holy Eucharist, the sacrament of Your own sweet presence, and fortified by this, You promised us that we will not taste death. Never let me betray You, and I know I will be happy forever. Amen.
