Joseph Muthondu, is a seventeen year old boy who has refused to allow his physical condition limit him to scale great heights and achieve his dreams.
Born with a knee condition that had left him unable to stand since birth, he has still managed to outdo some young men his age, by knowing his purpose in life regardless of his condition. It is his charming, ambitious, confident and resilient nature that actually caught my attention. Muthondu is the real definition of ‘disability is not inability‘.

Last year, Muthondu’s case caught my attention and his story touched my heart. Despite his condition, he has dreams to go through his education to tertiary level and even become an artist. Through prayers and support from the online congregation and Father CK Foundation we managed to mobilize resources and he had his corrective surgery done on March 22nd 2022. As at now, Muthondu can now stand and in a matter of time, he will be able to walk on his own
Sadly, however, Muthondu has been unable to resume his studies since the surgery as can only join a special needs school at Thika due to mobility issues.
