Pray for His Fatherhood
Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
Ephesians 6:4
Lord, I pray for my husband’s fatherhood. I pray that he will not exasperate our children, but will lovingly train and instruct them in the admonition of God (Ephesians 6:4). Grant him the grace and patience to train our children up in the way they should go, so that when they are older, they will not depart from your truth (Proverbs 22:6). Help him to look to you as his Heavenly Father, that he may gain wisdom and guidance to become a godly father. Amen.
