Deuteronomy 6:5 tells you to love the Lord our God with all your heart and mind, but you may sometimes find yourself in the grips of an addiction that takes your heart and mind away from God. Therefore, pray this prayer for deliverance from an addiction:
Almighty Father, I ask that in Your mercy, you liberate me from this addiction. I feel like I am falling into darkness, and my behaviors have harmed my life. I cannot escape without Your intervention. Therefore, I put this situation into Your hands Lord and pray that You give me the strength to resist this addiction. Amen.
