Dear God, I pause in the middle of this Thursday to ask you to continue to guide me. This morning I stumbled and made decisions based on my pride. Help me to seek forgiveness from those that I have hurt and humble me to be more like you.
I praise you that you have redeemed me. You brought me life when I had none and now even as I desire you I sometimes fail. Forgive me Lord. Your grace is so abundant.
God, I pray that you carry me throughout my afternoon. Help me to run to you when I am being unjustly teased. I know that I can forgive those that hurt me because you have forgiven me much.
Help me to turn my eyes to you and let the things of this earth that seemed to have bothered me so much this morning fade away. Help me to seek you and draw me near to you.
And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. (Hebrews 11:6}
God, I praise you for loving me, and for being with me throughout this Thursday. I pray you continue to be by my side. In the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
