Father, you know the plans for my life but it feels like they just keep shifting. By Thursdays, I have experienced so many adjustments at work. Plans with friends have been shifted for the weekend several times. I long for stability and struggle with the ever-shifting life each week brings.
God, I pray that you help me to be flexible and adaptable.
As I prepare for Friday tomorrow and don’t know exactly what tomorrow will look like I trust that you do. I lay my life in your hands and have confidence that you care for me.
God, I especially want to be flexible as you help me grow to be more like you.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:2)
God, I thank you for your faithfulness and steadfast love. Help me to remember these truths about you when I’m struggling to be flexible. I pray this all in your name, Amen.
