Loving God, I come before You, recognizing the power of the tongue and the need for control over my words. Guide me, Holy Spirit, in taming my speech. Help me use my words to uplift, encourage, and speak truth in love. Guard me against gossip, slander, and hurtful speech. May my tongue be an instrument of blessing, reflecting Your grace and wisdom. In moments of anger or frustration, grant me the restraint to respond with gentleness and patience. Let my words reflect the character of Christ, who used His tongue to bring healing and hope. In Jesus’ name, I seek control over my tongue. Amen.
