Heavenly Father,
As we gather in prayer on this Saturday morning, we are inspired by the example of Saint Zita, whose life of humility and service continues to shine as a beacon of light for all generations. Lord, may we too be inspired by her devotion to you and her dedication to serving others with love and compassion.
In the Gospel of John (14:7-14), your Son, Jesus Christ, teaches us about the importance of knowing you and believing in him. Help us, Lord, to deepen our relationship with you each day, seeking to know you more deeply and to follow your Son more closely.
As we reflect on the life of Saint Zita, we are reminded of the power of simple acts of kindness and service. Grant us, Lord, the grace to follow her example, offering ourselves in humble service to our neighbors, especially those most in need.
Lord, as we go about our day, may we be mindful of the opportunities you place before us to serve you in others. Help us to see your face in the faces of those we encounter, and to respond with love and generosity to their needs.
Bless our endeavors today, Lord, and guide us in the ways of righteousness.
