Heavenly Father,
As we gather in prayer this Tuesday morning, we open our hearts to your word and seek inspiration from the Gospel of Mark (9:30-37). In this passage, Jesus teaches his disciples about humility and service, showing us the true path to greatness in your kingdom.
Lord, as we reflect on Jesus’ words, we are reminded that the greatest among us must be the servant of all. Help us to embrace this teaching in our daily lives. Grant us the humility to put others before ourselves and to serve with a joyful heart.
Jesus took a little child and placed the child among his disciples, saying, “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.” Lord, help us to see your face in the innocent and vulnerable, and to treat everyone we meet with the same love and care that we would show to you.
On this day, may we be mindful of opportunities to serve others. Give us the grace to act with kindness, compassion, and humility, reflecting your love in all that we do.
As we go about our tasks and responsibilities, let us remember that true greatness lies not in power or status, but in selfless service and love. May our actions today be a testament to our faith and a witness to your kingdom.
Bless our efforts, Lord, and guide our steps. Fill us with your Spirit so that we may serve you faithfully and bring your light to those around us.
In Jesus name we pray, Amen
