Heavenly Father,
As we gather in prayer on this Tuesday morning, we are filled with gratitude for the example of Saint George, whose feast we celebrate today, and for the wisdom found in the Gospel of John 10:22-30.
Lord, like Saint George, who fearlessly stood firm in his faith even in the face of persecution, grant us the courage to be steadfast in our commitment to you. May we draw strength from his example as we navigate the challenges of our own lives.
In the Gospel passage, Jesus speaks of the intimate relationship between himself and his sheep, assuring us that no one can snatch us out of his hand. Lord, help us to trust in your unfailing love and to rest securely in your care, knowing that we are held in the palm of your hand.
As we go about our day, may we be guided by the example of Saint George and the teachings of your Son, Jesus Christ. Help us to walk in faith and obedience, following the path of righteousness and seeking always to do your will.
Lord, we offer you our prayers, our work, and our lives, asking that you would bless and sanctify them for your glory. May everything we do be done with love and dedication, reflecting the light of your presence in our lives.
