A prayer for your husband, is a prayer for you.
For a prayer to have an effect on your husband, it must change you first.
Gracious Ladies, your husband needs your encouragement, your support, your prayers and your belief in him.
Praying for your husband will build your own faith and draw you closer to God. This Novena is simple and you can use it to guide your own meditations and words. There is so much power in prayer! Gracious Ladies, If you have a faith that has been put through the fire and tested, that faith will never fail. Put your faith to the test.
Day 30: Pray for the Next Generation
“And he did what was evil in the side of the Lord according to the despicable practices of the nations, whom the Lord drove out before the people of Israel. For he rebuilt the high places that Hezekiah, his father, had destroyed. And he erected altars for Baal and made an Ashera, as Ahab king of Israel had done and worshiped all the host of heaven and served them.. 2 Kings 21:2–3
PRAYER FOR THE NEXT GENERATION
God, we pray that our kids and grandkids, some of whom are listening to this right now. God, we pray for the next generation, whoever comes to our mind when we think about the next generation. We pray even specifically for those people that they would know you, that they would love you, that they would walk with you all the days of their life. That they would not turn from you. They wouldn’t turn aside to false gods in this world. And God, we pray that you would help us all to live toward that end. Help us to live to faithfully pass the gospel on to the next generation. God, we pray, the fruit of our lives would be generations worshiping you.
God, I pray all the time for my children’s children’s children, who I assume I probably won’t have the opportunity to meet in this world should you tarry Jesus, and generations from my family continue, I pray that they would know you, that they would love you. They would walk with you. God, please, I pray that it’d be so. We pray that together for those who will come after us, and we pray that you would help us to live faithfully toward that end to model worship of you alone to show them your goodness and your grace and your glory in what they see in our lives. God, please help us to faithfully pass the gospel on to the next generation and in light of 2 Kings 21:2–3. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
PRAYER 2 FOR THE NEXT GENERATION
Dear Lord, today, I want to pray for the next generations. I think of those who make the headlines because of their lack of faith or their confusion about faith. I ask you to reveal yourself to them, to draw them to your love and grace.
I pray also for those who have said “no” to you. May they see through the distortions of the “new atheists.” And may they see beyond the failures of Christians to live as people of love and truth.
I pray for those who have chosen relationship with you, even when this requires them to swim against the cultural tide. I thank you for their thoughtfulness, their vision, their faithfulness. Help them, dear Lord, to continue to grow in your grace. May they bring renewal to your church. And may they find ways to live out their faith in the world, serving you each day in all they do.
All praise be to you, God of all generations. Amen.

May your children, finances, and your endeavors be blessed by God
and bring him glory and Honor.
May your marriage and home be a house of prayer, a house of
Worship, a house of Joy and a small Heaven.
This is my prayer for you and the generations to follow.
